What data we collect
When you send an enquiry, we receive the details you enter: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, country, preferred language, information about your household, home, experience with Bulldogs and daily care plan, your travel preference and any notes you add. We do not ask for sensitive data; please do not include it in your notes.
Why we use it and on what legal basis
We use your data to answer your enquiry, assess whether a puppy suits your home and prepare a possible placement at your request (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). If a placement is agreed, we keep the records the law requires (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR). We do not send advertising without your separate consent and we do not make automated decisions or profiles about you.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry data while your enquiry is open. If no placement follows, we delete it once it is no longer needed to answer you or to handle a later request from you. If a placement is agreed, we keep the related records for the periods required by law.
Who receives it
We do not sell your data. It is stored with the technical providers that host this website and its database and monitor it for errors, who act on our behalf under a data-processing contract. If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so with the safeguards required by Chapter V of the GDPR, such as standard contractual clauses. We share data with veterinarians, transport providers or authorities only when a placement you have agreed to, or the law, requires it.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Contact us by post to the address above. If you think we have not handled your data correctly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the authority in your own country.
